Our Story
It started at a poker table.
My wife and I met Robert twelve years ago. I was dealing cards. He was one of the regulars. We hit it off the first night and built a real friendship from there.
Three years ago, I moved to Utah. Robert and I got closer, and I started helping him on wallpaper jobs whenever I could. That's where it clicked. I fell in love with the work — the prep, the pattern, the small decisions that change a room. What I fell for harder was the moment at the end, when a customer walks in and sees what they pictured in their head finally on the wall.
After a few years of that, I knew this wasn't a side thing anymore. I started Wallpaper Deluxe so I could do it full-time. Robert is still here — partner, friend, and the lead installer on the biggest jobs.

He came to wallpaper through Robert — first as a friend, then as a partner.

Robert learned this trade from his father in the Czech Republic. He's been hanging paper for 39 years.

Alberto has been installing wallpaper for about five years. He works alongside Robert on the more involved jobs and runs his own from start to finish. Steady hands, careful eye.

Robert was hanging paper in the Czech Republic before most installers in Utah were born. He learned the trade from his father — old-school European apprenticeship, every step done by hand, no shortcuts.
