How it works. No surprises.
Six steps from the first call to the day we hand the room back.
Step 01: Reach out. You call or fill out the form.
Tell us about the room — where it is, what wallpaper you're thinking about, and when you'd like the work done. If you haven't picked a paper yet, that's fine. We'll talk it through.
Step 02: In-person measurement. We come out and measure. Free.
We'll walk the room with you, measure every wall, and account for windows, doors, outlets, and pattern repeats. Most wallpaper has a run number — a batch ID — and rolls from different runs can read as slightly different colors on the same wall. We'll tell you exactly how many rolls to order in a single run so the wall reads as one piece.
Free, whether you hire us or not — we just want you ordering the right amount.
Step 03: Your wallpaper, sourced. You order it. We don't.
We don't sell wallpaper. Most customers order through Wallpaper Warehouse in Salt Lake City — they're walking distance from most of our jobs and they carry the brands we install most.
If you're working with an interior designer, they can order through their trade accounts, which often works out better for designer brands. We'll point you the right direction either way.
The most important step.
Step 04: Wall prep. The most important step.
Before any paper touches the wall, we prep the surface. Skim coat over patches and old texture, sand it flat, then prime with a wallpaper-rated primer. On older walls or rough surfaces we may skim twice.
This is the step that decides whether your install lasts a year or fifteen years. We don't shortcut it.
Step 05: Installation. Quality over speed.
We measure, cut, book, and hang each drop one at a time. Pattern matched across every seam. Outlets, switches, and trim cut clean. If a wall takes an extra day to do right, we take the extra day.
Step 06: Walkthrough + 1-year warranty. We don't leave until you're happy.
Final walkthrough together. We point out everything we did, you point out anything we missed, and we don't pack up until the room is right. Every install is covered by our 1-year workmanship warranty — if a seam lifts or anything we did fails in the first year, we come back and fix it.
True Story
What “the extra day” actually looks like.
A customer last year called us about a poured-cement wall in a finished basement — pitted, waved, and already turned down by three other installers. She’d already ordered the paper. We told her the wall could be done, but the prep would take a full extra day: skim coat to fill the pits, sand it flat, prime, then a second skim where the surface still pulled.
By the time we hung the paper, the wall felt like new drywall under your hand, and the finished room looked like every other room we do. Most projects don’t need an extra day. This one did. We stay until the room is right — however long that takes.
